Email listings on church websites
Church websites needs to provide contact information. Below is a reprint of my restricted post at NHF commenting on the issue.
Suggestions for church website
Currently only the NHF forum allows collaborative content building. The main website changes requires our sysadmin. So here are a few quick additions that I would like to see:

On the home page, or on a separate tab "Contact us", a visitor may like to see email addresses such as

  • "pastor@nhf..."
  • "deacons@nhf..."
  • "welcome@nhf..."
besides the physical address and phone numbers.

On the activities page, I see that people like AAA, BBB are risking their private email addresses. Perhaps we can give frequent users church emails

  1. AAA@nhf...
  2. BBB@nhf...
to reduce their email exposure to spam.

Creating these emails would reduce the spam going to their regular email, and allow us to see if spam at NHF is an issue. Then we could implement antispam tools on the entire church website, rather than to leave the probelm to the individuals.
