Crisis of current evangelical generation

Perhaps as a result of the Jesus movement of the last generation,
whereby faith have focused on the personal relationship with God, we
see today the tendency to equate our faith journey with an
individualized faith, a sort of privitization. Yet the danger is that
we focus so much on confronting the challenges alone, and easily
succuum to pressure from society. Another danger is that even a
pastoral candidate I met at a social setting was reluctant to show his
faith despite my indication of being a Christian. The key question is then: how to nurture and develop a displayable faith? |
