Evangelism: just ask.
IN The Wisdom of Crowds, it was mentioned that Conventions are powerful:
Milgram's expt: getting seat in subway, cutting a line: just asking
was the biggest barrier. overcoming it was sufficient to gain benefit.
Apply this to evangelism: social convention is simply not to talk about
religion. Yet try just asking. It is the biggest barrier. Yet most
people will be receptive after you ask. |
